The British Alliance of Healing Associations aim is

"The promotion and advancement of spiritual healing"

The Objectives of the Alliance are:-

(i) Education of the public and healing organisations and improvement of good practice;
(ii) implementation of standards of education and support of individual healing centres;
(iii) through networking provide effective communication and interaction between member organisations;
(iv) sourcing suitable cost-effective insurance cover for member organisations.

BAHA is an Umbrella Group of some 40+ Healing Associations comprising approximately 3500 Accredited Healers and with about 1000 under training. There is a 'Code of Conduct' and a 'Complaints and Disciplinary Procedure' that comprehensively covers healing practice and ensures that high standards are maintained in all BAHA healing associations. All BAHA organisation Healers are fully insured to heal its public patronage in the UK, including animal patients.

The British Alliance of Healing Associations is a properly constituted charity (Reg No. 284546) that was originally formed in 1976 and finally acquired charity status in 1982.
